I love downtown Jackson, especially the area surrounding the Governor's mansion and old capitol. Those old buildings with their unique architecture, the brick streets and sidewalks, and the live oak trees, you couldn't ask for a more picturesque place. Since I'm currently out of our 5K races because of my foot injury, I went with momma to the Governor's cup race to capture some images of the race and downtown a bit. I didn't get any of the race, because my camera battery died, but I was able to find a plug to charge it and get a little juice to take a few pictures downtown =) Enjoy!
